The mission focus for January/February is Jen Davis out in Rhode Island. Here is an update from her:

Hi BLFC Family,

It was so good to see you all over Christmas! I hope your new year has started off so well!

Things in Providence are going well and the Spring semester for students is here! Campus Fellowship at Brown University is going strong and we are hoping to become an official organization soon!
My biggest encouragements this past semester have come from two first year international students from Brown; Chia and Claire. Chia is from Nigeria and Claire is from Barbados; they have similar stories where they both started reading their Bibles when they were in boarding school (for high school) and attended a local church, but neither of them have ever had specific 1:1 discipleship. It has been incredible to see how much they have grown this past semester!
Rhode Island College's Campus Fellowship is doing well and all the students in our ministry have loved connecting with all the new Brown students. Our hope is CF will continue to grow on RIC's campus and become more and more of a blessing to the college!

During the holiday season I was recalling all the past semesters of ministry in Rhode Island; my first one was Fall of 2021 which means I've lived here for almost four years! This summer will be my 5th summer in Providence! It is hard to believe all the things that the Lord has provided for us in that time, but so much has changed for the better and countless lives have been impacted.
My plan when I pursued ministry here was to stay 3-5 years, and as year four comes to an end I'm praying for wisdom about future plans. Please pray God would make my next steps clear and that I trust Him every step of the way.

Thank you all for your prayer and financial support. I am eternally grateful.

Love, Jen Davis
